Day 32 – 5/29/11 – 24 miles (478)

“You get your shit done at the Saufleys, then walk 24 miles to a party at the Andersons.”

We didn’t get rolling until about 8:30 am, but still made pretty good time for the day. It felt strange and sad going on without Moccasin, who had to leave the trail back in Agua Dulce. Hopefully he’ll be able to return to the trail soon.

When we arrived at Casa de Luna, it was fairly calm, but there was lots of talk about the previous night’s chocolate syrup wrestling match. We’d heard rumors of people staying here for many days, even a week or more. Sure enough, we saw some people we hadn’t seen since kick-off, enjoying their 4th zero day here. We plan to stay the night and get out sometime tomorrow. We’ll see what happens.
