Day 48 – 6/14/11 – 15 miles (719)
Time to get back to the trail, but not until after a pancake breakfast. Sprinkles’s family was way too good to us. I can’t thank them enough.

It’s amazing how quickly the scenery changes after Kennedy Meadows. No need for a water report anymore when you are following streams all day long. Unfortunately, all the water also means mosquitos, and mosquitos really like me. The 100% DEET I brought doesn’t seem to be enough. My rainsuit and headnet combo, along with a campfire finally brought some peace in the evening.
