Sonora Pass

Day 74 – 7/10/11 – 11 miles (1018)

At Sonora Pass before noon! We finally had a nice day of ridge walking and easy to follow trail. When our party reached the road we were greeted by The Owl who was providing trail magic at the picnic area. We gorged on fresh fruit, cookies, cake and cold beverages.
The hitch into Bridgeport was pretty easy, all five of us crammed into the bed of a pickup truck. After chores were done we stayed up probably too late watching movies and eating ice cream in our hotel room.
