Day 96 – 8/1/11 – 20 miles (1436)

When we went resupplying yesterday, we also bought some food to eat in the room for supper and snacking. Our eyes were a bit bigger than our bellies, so we ended up eating buffalo chicken and grape soda for breakfast this morning.

After the post office finally opened at 9:30am, we picked up our packages and mailed some extra stuff ahead. I got rid of my gloves and down booties, gasp!

And thus we didn’t get back to the trail until 11am. We walked through Burney Falls State Park, and took the side loop trail to see the falls. We also managed to find some soft serve ice cream along the way.
