Day 100 – 8/5/11 – 28 miles (1534)

It was a long, hot, steep uphill out of town, but we made good mileage anyway. We continued to have nice views of Mt Shasta, and also the Castle Crags, the state park of which we walked through today. Another campfire and s’mores with a pretty sunset rounded out the evening.
