Day 125 – 8/30/11 – 36 miles (2107)
We really walked a lot. We didn’t plan on going quite this far, but it was cold and windy all day, and the lure of warm Timberline Lodge was too much. We enjoyed a nice supper here, and decided to split a bunk room with Daybreaker. Unfortunately, the price we’d been counting on was only for 2 people, not 4. And so, at 10pm, we went back out into the cold wind to camp. The breakfast buffet had better be as good as everyone says it is!
Also, early this morning I saw a bear.
