Day 97 – 8/2/11 – 27 miles (1463)

What would a day in August in northern California on the PCT be without some patches of snow? Thankfully it was minimal and at least it didn’t cause me to get lost. For much of the day, we enjoyed nice views of Mt Shasta.

The trail was fairly easy today, but I’m feeling very tired. I think all the miles are starting to catch up with me. I’m very much looking forward to our planned zero day in Ashland, which should be about 12 days from now.
