Eagle Creek

Day 127 – 9/1/11 – 24 miles (2155)
It spritzed all night and was still going when I woke up this morning, but I stayed pretty dry. I didn’t want to leave my cozy accommodations, but who cares if I get cold and soaked, it’s town day!
There are two ways to get to Cascade Locks: the official PCT, and the very popular Eagle Creek trail, which goes past a bunch of spectacular waterfalls. Like most hikers, we choose the Eagle Creek route. It was great! You get to walk behind a waterfall!

We got to town by late afternoon and picked up a bunch of packages waiting for us. It was like Christmas! We got a motel room and plan to zero tomorrow.
