I was itching to get out this weekend, but I’m dealing with some injuries right now, so a long hike wasn’t in the cards. Instead I played around the rainforests and beaches of the western side of the Olympic Peninsula, taking photos and sleeping in my car. Enjoy some photos from this pretty place!

Beautiful pictures!
Thank for the inspiration. Very cool. So… what exactly are you nursing?
Ugh. So my one hip is still a little sore from the Wildwood day hike, but getting better, nothing to worry about. Then on the other side, I’ve developed a worsenibg foot pain mid-way up on the top inside, almost by the ankle. I have no idea what caused it, but it feels suspiciously like the tibial stress fracture from last summer. Trying to be good and rest, but I’m so antsy!
Three words…DO NOT RUN!
but do everything else.
Please do take care.
Thanks for sharing your, eye.
Lived in the Seattle area for a few years. So I went to the Peninsula once and did a little backpacking round 83′ or 84′. Beautiful but wet. Having lived the larger part of my life in California, I just couldn’t get used to all the precip.
Get well, get well, get well.
Everyone warned me about all the raing when moving to the PNW, but I haven’t minded it.
Thanks for the well wishes – the foot pain seems to be getting much better!
