Bubs and Joey got up super early to walk back to the trailhead to make up the miles they skipped with the shuttle by yesterday. 

The rest of the day was filled with normal town chores, but also a trip to the post office to pick up replacement gear as well as some packages from friends. Thank you Larry, Jen and Travis for all the booze and other goodies!!

I had no functional cell service and the free wifi was worth what I paid for it. I got just enough service to read my email and discover I had a major website malfunction going on. I did a pretty good job of not getting too worked up, mostly because Carrie Carter is amazing and got it all fixed for me! Thank you!!

In the evening we got a headstart on tomorrow and walked to the departure trailhead (Bright Angel), taking the shuttle bus back to the campground. We feasted on a grocery store rotisserie chicken and canned green beans. It was delicious.
