Day 66 – 5/18/16Transition day – 0 miles

Zero days always go by too quickly, but this one was fairly relaxing. I spent the morning catching up on posting the blog and doing some route and mileage planning for the biking. We have no idea what kind of daily mileage is realistic for us novice bikers. We’re planning a conservative 40mi/day, but hoping to do more. 

Cedar City is the biggest town we’ve been in for a long time, big enough to have a real movie theater. We caught a matinee showing of “The Jungle Book”, which was fun and a nice was to relax. Bubs and I biked to the movie theater, but Pinup had to walk. Left alone, he made some stops along the way and returned to the motel with a new hat. Guess the cowboy book really inspired him!

Pinup is leaving on a bus tonight to return to his car in Moab. Bubs and I leave in the morning on our bikes for the same destination!
